The Global Institute develops Local Community Change Agents (individuals who work with us to make a difference in their communities) and Global Impact Partners (Individuals, Organizations and Government entities who collaborate for greater impact) across service areas to work in collaboration to achieve improved individual and families quality of life, well-planned and transformational community and sustainable economic development through job creation, microfinance, entrepreneurship development (especially technologically-driven innovative manufacturing and value-added food processing), global trade, education/training and professional planning and development services.

We accomplish this mission by adopting the unique integration principles approach of total collaboration. First, we seek to unite Diaspora and Continental Africans into the Global Africans team. Then we engage individuals, global institutions/organizations/civic society in partnership for planning and developing transformative sustainable communities through three core areas of programs and services. These are: Quality Education and Training, Entrepreneurship Development with Financial Services, Global Trade and Social Enterprise, and Professional Services. There are short-term certificate courses as well as potential Associate Degree/Diplomas and credit transfer programs. Thus:

  1. We unite Diaspora and Continental Africans into one Global Africans team to work collaboratively together in developing their immediate and global communities.
  2. We work through various channels to identify and create Local Community Change Agents and Global Impact Partners with shared vision and passion for sustainable development of their communities.
  3. We create innovative partnerships with governments, institutions, organizations and communities to build capacity for collaboration and team work
  4. We utilize need-based, hands-on quality education in efforts to liberate and transform destructive and limiting mindsets to can-do spirit. There is also a continuous-learning training to improve already acquired skills to globally competitive standard.
  5. Our practical focus is not in telling folks what to do. We practically hand-hold and show them how to things by practically taking them through the process to success. This is what our entrepreneurship development is all about. It has the training component through starting and running a successful business, financing, technical and management assistance.
  6. We help grow businesses through quality-assurance to make them competitive in the global market
  7. Our Social Enterprise initiative creates opportunity for entrepreneurs to solve local problems by establishing green ventures that utilize and add value to local resources.
  8. We train and provide microfinance to people, especially women and youth, living under the poverty line to become seasoned entrepreneurs, create jobs and build vibrant and livable communities.
  9. Our services are sustainable and enable beneficiaries to not only establish thriving businesses but to also become bankable, save and insure against an uncertain future.

We provide professional services in all areas of need that will positively impact the lives of Global Africans irrespective of their locations and insist on an improved quality of life to all our stakeholders including our clients, staff, volunteers, and supporters.
